Awards

The Jubilee Quartet is thrilled to receive awards from the RPS and Help Musicians Transmission Fund for our educational work.

The challenges of Covid-19 have enhanced the need for consistent and regular music education in schools, in order for children to build team skills, enhance their listening, and learn to understand and evoke emotion. As we use this training to strengthen our connections with schools and the wider community, we will be able to reach a much more diverse audience. We eagerly anticipate what the future of the quartet holds as a result of this generous support from the Royal Philharmonic Society Fund and the Help Musicians Transmission Fund.

“Brilliant and distinctive…fresh and new…makes the music’s architecture expressive in its own right”

The Jubilee Quartet Appeal

We are heartbroken to announce that the majority of our performances until Autumn 2020 have been cancelled, and we are uncertain as to whether the performances which have not been cancelled will go ahead.

We have set up an appeal to help the members of the quartet survive without work for the next three months.

The world has turned upside down, and Covid-19 has cancelled all of our future engagements for the next few months.  This is our appeal to help cover the costs the quartet needs to survive.

As a thank you for any donations we receive above £15, we will send you a physical copy of our CD.

Any donations we receive above £100 will result in an invitation to an exclusive friends and donors concert organised by us, in London, later in the year.

Working as a quartet is a wonderful privilege but comes with financial strains at the best of times. We want to keep working together to achieve our goals as a group and your donations will help us continue working towards our concerts in 2020 and 2021. With your help, we can continue discovering the incredible string quartet repertoire, sharing our discoveries and love for what we do, and continue to perform the music that helps move the world forward.

Debut Album: Haydn String Quartets

We are thrilled to announce the release of our debut album, including 3 incredible Haydn Quartets, released by Rubicon Classics. Available to stream and download on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon on March 29th.
